Global Strategy: The scientific department of Santé Arménie plays a vital role in advancing our mission by promoting research and innovation. To address the many challenges facing Armenia, we have established a process of anticipating, creating, and implementing cutting-edge technologies and practices. Through this strategy and our collaborative partnerships with local and international experts, we aim to ensure sustainable change and provide healthcare professionals with practical knowledge and solutions.

The following 2 areas of work have been implemented in collaboration with our local partners (research centers, hospitals, universities):

Research and Developement
Create and develop the 1st translational immuno-oncology research laboratory in Armenia to accelerate scientific discoveries and their medical application for patients. This project aims to create a regional center of reference and excellence in the field of immuno-oncology in Armenia. The main objectives include creating, promoting, and strengthening a highly competitive immuno-oncology ecosystem by mobilizing cutting-edge biomedical research in immunotherapy and immunoprevention. To this end, we have established a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers who collaborate closely to develop new approaches to cancer immunotherapy.

Capacity Building :
Training healthcare professionals, as well as medical and science students, through the organization of lectures, workshops, academic exchange programs and conferences. In this context, an international Masterclass in immunology was organized in Yerevan in January 2024, bringing together international experts from centers of excellence. This event allowed Armenian researchers and health professionals to benefit from comprehensive training in immunology, a developing discipline in Armenia. On the other hand, this Masterclass presented a unique opportunity for speakers and participants to meet and exchange their experiences and expertise, as well as to explore new solutions to meet the current challenges of immunology research. The results of this high-level scientific meeting include the establishment of new collaborations between French and Armenian researchers, as well as the willingness to initiate a master’s degree and a chair in immunology in order to promote and strengthen this essential biomedical discipline. In October 2025, for the first time in Armenia's history, an international immuno-oncology summit will be held in Yerevan (October 16-18). This event will bring together international leaders in academic, translational, and clinical research. The summit will provide Armenian experts with a cutting-edge platform to interact and establish effective collaborations and strong partnerships on a global scale.
